ISEG Golden Jubilee 2015
Conference Report on Engineering Geology in New Millennium
The Indian Society of Engineering Geology (ISEG) was inaugurated on 15th October 1965 by the Union Minister for Irrigation and Power, Shri A.N. Khosla. Since its inception, ISEG has successfully brought together professionals in Engineering Geology and Geotechnical Engineering engaged in major construction projects in India.
Over the years, ISEG has grown to include civil engineers, scientists, and academicians working across infrastructure, hydropower, and mining industries. Its membership is open to all science and engineering graduates, making it a multidisciplinary society contributing to the fields of engineering geology, geotechnical engineering, and environmental science.
International Conference: Engineering Geology in New Millennium
To celebrate its 50 years of existence, ISEG organized an International Conference from 27th to 29th October 2015 at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. The conference was held under the sponsorship of the International Association of Engineering Geology (IAEG) and saw participation from prominent professionals and organizations from around the globe.
