4th International Conference of IAEG 1982
The Proceedings of the 4th International Congress of the International Association of Engineering Geology (now known as the International Association for Engineering Geology and the Environment), hosted by the Society in 1982 at New Delhi, were published in eight volumes. This publication includes numerous papers contributing to the field of engineering geology, showcasing significant research and advancements during that time.

ICUST, 2011
The International Association of Engineering Geology and the Environment (IAEG), the Indian Society of Engineering Geology (ISEG), and the National Institute of Rock Mechanics (NIRM) organized an International Conference on "Underground Space Technology" from 17-19 January, 2011. This event was held concurrently with the "8th Asian Regional Conference of IAEG". The main theme of the Conference focused on underground space technology in mining engineering, civil engineering, and infrastructure development sectors. The Conference aimed to address the challenges posed in the excavation of underground openings in rock, targeting professionals in rock engineering.
